Before there was anything, there was Tia. Tia, the mother of all, sprang from the null of space, time and magic that fills everything. She looked out and saw that the universe was empty so she set to work creating her garden. She gathered the void together and sang to it in a deep booming voice. From the void sprang dust which she pressed together to form the world and she named the world Daleth. She then gathered the void together in two places on each side of Daleth and she sang a high piercing song to each. Light sprang forth forming two great lamps. Echoes from the song created dots of light that filled the heavens. The suns shined down on Daleth warming the soil. She breathed her moist breath and the air settled around the globe and caused Daleth to revolve. Her garden was now ready to be planted. It had the warm suns, the gentle breeze, and the good soil. She dug deep furrows on the ground and in the furrows she sang her loveliest song so far. From the furrows sprang plants, animals, and birds which spread to all parts of Daleth.
She looked around the garden and saw that it was lovely. So lovely that she wept for joy. Her salty tears rained down and settled in the hollow places. Water from her tears soon covered half the world but that only made Daleth lovelier. The blue seas, the green forests, and the brown soil each added to the beauty of the world. Now she sang to the seas and out sprang sea creatures and plants. She walked for uncounted years in her garden tending this and that till she had things just like she wanted. Her garden was now ready for guests. First she formed figures from the soil, water, and green plants and sang to them. These figures awoke as humans and looked upon Tia their creator. They worshiped her and lived in peace in her garden. They used of the plants and animals but gave back to nature as they took. All lived in balance and harmony.
From the null that is everywhere, perhaps in balance for Tias works of creation, there sprang a new being. This new being was called Rizwan and he saw all that Tia had created and believed that it caused imbalance. Only the perfect void was in true balance so he began to destroy the creation. First he caused crops to fail and decay. Then he did the same to the worshipers of Tia. All became mortal and were destined to return to the soil. Then Rizwan began to destroy Daleth and the suns. One of the suns faded almost completely out and the mountains began to crumble and wash to the sea. Tia noticed the decay at work in her garden and tried to repair it. Every move that Rizwan made was countered by Tia. When it became obvious that neither could overpower the other, they called a truce to discuss the problem. They soon realized that their combined works created a better balance than either had been able to achieve. They would each be responsible for part of the balance and would work in harmony with each other.
Over time, they developed love for each other, joined, and had many offspring. Tia and Rizwan had one set of triplets and continue to have sets of twins to this day. Almost all of their offspring were great disappointments. The children never seemed to understand the true balance and were always creating imbalances in good, evil, law, and chaos. Only the triplets Baradakas, Halag, and Shri understood the balance and tried to help their parents. All the others were born opposites of a given realm. For example, Orjan the god of hate was born the twin of Noni the goddess of love. Even as each child strives to make their realm better, a sibling works to undermine their work.
Over the ages, balance has been maintained as each child born was balanced by an equal opposite. With the Orders now complete, there are those who fear what will happen now. Some hold that new offsprint will lead to new orders be formed. Others hold that the universe is now complete and Tia and Rizwan may soon tire of their work. Still others predict a great war between the gods if an imbalance occurs. Many watch the stars for signs of what is to come. Only time will tell.
The heavens consist of the sun, moon, and the lights in the sky created by Tia in the beginning as well as works of their children. The sun, moon, and stars are just lights in the sky (not planets or stars as we know). They stand stationary in the sky with the bright sun on one side of Daleth and the dim sun on the other. As a compromise, Rizwan and Tia alternately tear down and buildup the lesser of the great lights causing the moon phases from full to nothing and back to full once a month. This cycle serves as a reminder of the balance between creation and destruction. Every great while, they do the same for the brighter great light but this is done more quickly so as not to kill all life on Daleth. This event also serves to remind life that Tia and Rizwan are to be worshipped.
The world was named Daleth by Tia in the beginning and is known by that name throughout the world. Daleth is in a constant state of creation and destruction. There is new land being formed as well as land being washed into the sea. Water disappears from one place only to rain back down elsewhere. The cycle of creation and destruction is more proof that Tia and Rizwan are at work in the world today.
